U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer slipped on ice in his Bismarck backyard on Sunday, and is now recovering at home after suffering a severe concussion, slight brain bleed, and seizure. He was taken to the Sanford Health emergency room, where he received stables for a head laceration that was bleeding uncontrollably. The senator is now resting at home with anti-seizure medication, per doctor's orders. He is dealing with headaches, and there was no timeline provided for his return to Washington. This isn't Cramer's first injury regarding yard work; in June of 2022, he crushed two fingers when a large rock rolled onto his hand, resulting in him missing a week of Senate duties.
