Former chief minister and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao said that BRS is the only party that can fight for the people and called on the ranks to prepare for another fight against the anti-people policies of the Congress. Speaking at the extensive party working committee meeting on Wednesday, he also expressed confidence that the party will come back to power in 2028, which is 100 percent certain.
However, he was furious that some of his own party leaders were disappointed after losing the last parliamentary elections and that they campaigned negatively while remaining in the party. He advised that the party should not think that it's work is over just because it was defeated, and that the people will teach the 10 MLAs who changed parties that way.
He deplored that the Congress government in the state had failed and that Telangana, which had been achieved by fighting, was going backwards again. He called for fighting again to maintain Telangana with the spirit of the past. He said that BRS silver jubilee programs will be organized throughout the year and the party's general council meeting will be held on April 10 in Hyderabad.
KCR announced that sub-committees should be formed for the silver jubilee programs and that the party will focus on strengthening its organizational structure from now on, and that there will be a huge public meeting on April 27, the formation day of the party. KCR announced that membership registration will be held from April 10 to 27, after which organizational committees will be formed.
The party presidential election will be held in October and November, and since the conditions are favorable, he called on everyone to work hard for the party's victory in the local body elections. He reiterated that BRS is not a party that can be defeated after one defeat, but a party that has faced many setbacks and achieved the state.
KCR made it clear that the government's popularity among the people is declining and that it will not last. He has called on young leaders to be ready, saying that by-elections are certain in the 10 seats where MLAs have switched parties, and that by-elections will come in the state.
He assured the young leaders of the party that "the power is ours again in Telangana. You are the MLAs. You should work hard for the future". He expressed hope that the Supreme Court will give a verdict on the MLAs who have defected from the party. He said that the state's revenue increased every year during the BRS regime, but the state's revenue has decreased during the Congress government. KCR criticized that the same officials from that time are still there, but this government is not able to work.
