La Repubblica newspaper reports Milan star Christian Pulisic is no longer on good terms with coach Sergio Conceiçao and has asked to leave the club in the summer if the Portuguese remain in charge.
Tension is running high at Milan especially after Tuesday's Champions League exit at the hands of Feyenoord.
La Repubblica newspaper confirms Pulisic is unhappy with Conceiçao, adding that the pair had a face-to-face argument after Milan's loss to Dinamo Zagreb in December, in the last league phase game of the Champions League.
The Italian newspaper claims that Pulisic's relationship with Conceiçao irremediably collapsed, with the American winger asking to leave the club if Conceiçao remains in charge in 2025-26.
According to the report, Pulisic and other Milan players, including Youssouf Fofana, 'do not appreciate the coach's tough methods.'
Conceiçao signed a contract until June 2026 in December, but Milan have an option to terminate the agreement at the end of the season.
Repubblica and Gazzetta report Conceiçao won't remain at San Siro beyond the summer if he fails to qualify for the 2025-26 Champions League.
