VIENNA -- In a close contest throughout, the Vienna Lady Eagles came away with a 43-38 win Tuesday night against the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons.
Blair Oaks led 10-8 after one quarter and 22-20 at halftime. Vienna scored 18 points in the third quarter to take a 38-32 advantage.
Both teams combined for 11 points in the fourth quarter, but Vienna was able to hold on for the five-point victory.
Belle Boessen led the Lady Falcons with 14 points. Mia Antweiler was next in the scoring column with eight points.
Ella Hollis scored a game-high 16 points for the Lady Eagles. Madison Weeks also reached double figures with 10 points.
Blair Oaks (5-9) plays Thursday at Boonville for a Tri-County Conference matchup.
Vienna (9-7) hosts Iberia on Thursday.
Tuesday's meeting was varsity-only.
