Travis Hunter Teases Announcement Amid Injury Concerns

Travis Hunter exited Colorado's 31-28 loss to Kansas State with a shoulder injury and it's unknown how much time he could miss.

Hunter seemed to pick up the injury following a 14-yard catch in the second quarter, after taking a hit from Kansas State safety Daniel Cobbs. He headed to the locker room for further evaluation but rejoined his teammates on the sideline early in the third quarter. Hunter did not re-enter the game.

He was among four Colorado receivers who were injured during the matchup with the Wildcats.

"Hopefully they can get back at it. We're not going to rush them," Deion Sanders said. "Their safety and health is much more important than this game."

Hunter published his vlog from the game on Monday, recapping the pregame and the loss. However, he didn't touch on the injury. Instead, he left a teaser for an additional video.

"Injury update coming soon..." Hunter said at the end of the video.

Hunter has 587 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season. He's added 16 tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble on the defensive side of the ball. Unfortunately, Colorado has to fill two holes on the depth chart if Hunter is out for any period of time.

Hunter was among the Heisman favorites entering Week 7, but his odds dropped significantly following the injury. Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty is the current front-runner, per FanDuel.

Colorado faces Arizona on Saturday before hosting Cincinnati on October 26.
