The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the drawing.
No one across the country hit Monday's $144 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
In New Jersey, a third-prize, $150,000 ticket was purchased at at HC Good Neighbor Pharmacy on Route 37 in Toms River, the New Jersey Lottery said. It matched four number plus the Powerball. The winner paid an extra $1 for the Power Play option, which tripled the standard $50,000 prize.
Monday's winning numbers were: 27, 31, 41, 52 and 69. The Powerball drawn was 26 with a Power Play of 3X.
In addition, there were no winners of the secondary $10 million Double Play jackpot. Those winning numbers were: 2, 6, 24, 36 and 43. The Double Play number drawn was 13.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Friday's Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $453 million with a cash option of $209.6 million.
