The college football season isn't over but one of the big names -- perhaps the biggest -- Colorado's two-way start has the NFL on his mind, particularly the 2025 NFL draft.
Hunter spoke with the media on Thursday and said "for sure" when asked if he would enter his name in next year's selection process.
Hunter plays DB and WR for the Buffaloes under Deion Sanders. He spends about 120 plays per game on the field.
Many expect Hunter to be the top pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
"It's never been done," Hunter said of playing two positions full time in the modern NFL. "I understand that it will be a high risk, [teams] don't want their top pick to go down too early and I know they're going to want me to be in a couple packages. But I believe I can do it. Nobody has stopped me from doing it thus far.
"I like when people tell me I can't do it.
Hunter has three interceptions in 2024. He also has made 74 catches for 911 yards and nine touchdowns.
