BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) -- Motorists should consider taking an alternate route after a serious injury crash at a major intersection in Boca Raton on Tuesday afternoon.
The Boca Raton Police Department (BRPD) said the crash occurred at the intersection of Glades Road and the I-95 interchange.
Photos taken from a traffic camera show the ramp from I-95 blocked off to drivers, causing some traffic build-up.

Police said both the east and westbound lanes of Glades Road are closed, and officers are detouring traffic.
BRPD said the crash involves a serious injury and the public is asked to avoid the area until police provide an update.
