Viroqua native Brian Graham was one of nine journalists inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts and Science Silver Circle on Sunday, Feb. 2 in Milwaukee.
Graham, the son of Ann and the late Jim Graham of Viroqua, is assistant news director at WITI - FOX6 Milwaukee.
NATAS established the Silver Circle to honor outstanding individuals who have performed distinguished service within the television industry for 25 years or more, according to the press release. It is one of the highest honors bestowed by the academy.
Graham has worked at WITI for nearly 30 years holding a variety of roles including news producer, sports producer, executive producer, news operations manager, news content manager and assistant news director. He has won several regional Emmy Awards during his tenure, the release states.

He is a graduate of Viroqua High School, where he started in the audio-visual program under Ted Harris. He was a broadcast journalist major at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and started his professional career at WEAU, Channel 13 in Eau Claire.
Prior to that, he had worked for several media outlets: WVRQ radio, the Broadcaster-Censor and La Crosse Tribune, the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram and WIAL Radio. Graham won a national SPJ award for Best Non-Daily Collegiate Newspaper at the UWEC student newspaper, The Spectator.
