Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Willie Anderson has been named a semifinalist for the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class.This marks the fifth straight year that Anderson was named a semifinalist for induction into football's most exclusive club.Drafted 10th overall by the Bengals in the 1996 draft out of Auburn, Anderson spent 12 of his 13 seasons with the Bengals, playing in 181 games and making 173 starts.After earning his first All-Pro honor in 2003, being named to the second team, Anderson was named first-team All-Pro three straight years, from 2004-2006. He was also voted to the Pro Bowl in each of those four seasons.Anderson was inducted into the Bengals' Ring of Honor in 2021, alongside Isaac Curtis.Anderson was among 25 modern era players who were named semifinalists for the Hall of Fame on Wednesday. The list also includes former St. Xavier High School and Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly and former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
