The Knicks are looking to bounce-back after their worst loss of the season, though they're also dealing with some injuries. They have two starters listed as questionable on the injury report ahead of the 1 p.m. Sunday game against the Celtics at TD Garden.
Josh Hart (right knee) and OG Anunoby (right foot) are both questionable, while big man Mitchell Robinson continues to be out due to his left ankle surgery. Both Hart and Anunoby are key pieces as the Knicks hope they'll be fine for Sunday's game.
Hart hasn't played in a game since Feb. 12 with his injury, missing both of the Knicks' two games following the All-Star break. Anunoby returned from a six-game absence recently, playing 27 minutes in the Knicks' blowout loss to the Cavaliers on Friday. But it appears the foot is still bothering him as he's back on the injury report.
The Knicks are 37-19 on the season, but that doesn't tell the whole story. They're a combined 0-4 against the first-place Cavaliers and second-place Celtics, including a 37-point loss to Cleveland on Friday. Considering the Knicks are firmly third in the East, they're looking to make at least some noise against the East's best.
But the Celtics come into Sunday's game continuing to play great basketball. They smoothly beat the 76ers on the road in their first game back from the All-Star break. The C's have won eight of their last nine games, climbing out of a lull in their schedule. Boston has blown out New York in both games the teams have played this season.
