Part of the Washington Commanders' rebuild was to bring in veteran players to help complement what was already on the roster.
Head coach Dan Quinn was part of the Dallas Cowboys organization from 2021 through 2023, and he developed some chemistry with several players, who followed him to Washington.
Tyler Biadasz, Dorance Armstrong, and Dante Fowler Jr. all swapped Dallas for Washington, and with teams now on a collision course in Week 12, naturally, there could be a little more pep in their step for "Dallas week."
But for Jayden Daniels, when asked if those players and Quinn have shown that this game means more to them, they haven't made it known.
"I mean, if it does, they ain't been showing it," Daniels said. "So they been focused on how can we get better how can we improve and focus on ourselves."
So, while there hasn't been any extra spice at practice this week, we imagine that when it comes to game time, the ex-Cowboys and Quinn will want to put in a good performance to heap more misery on Dallas, who is a fast-sinking ship.

But as we have come to know of Quinn, he is purely focused on his own backyard and will want his team to dot their I's and cross their T's as they look to snap their two-game losing streak and put pressure on the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC East.
So while it's "Dallas week" for the Commanders, despite having several ex-Cowboys and a head coach who spent his last three years with the organization, there will be a little extra incentive for Washington to lay a beat down on their division rivals.
