A look at what Arizona law requires you to do if you are in an accident.

Police reported that a teenage girl died following a crash between a car and an SUV on Friday afternoon in north Phoenix.

The collision occurred shortly after 1 p.m. at the intersection of 51st Avenue and Bell Road. Phoenix police said the car, carrying two teenagers, was struck by an SUV.

Beyonce Vasquez, 17, was in the passenger seat of the car and was found with life-threatening injuries, according to Sgt. Brian Bower, Phoenix police spokesperson.

"While receiving emergency medical care at the hospital, Vasquez was not able to overcome her injuries and died as a result of the collision," wrote Bower on Saturday in a statement announcing the death.

The impact caused the two vehicles to collide with a school bus, which had only the driver on board, and a man in a wheelchair on the sidewalk. However, neither the bus driver nor the man was injured in the crash.

The teenage driver was taken home by a family member as a precaution, but no other injuries were reported, Bower said.

Bower said there were no signs of impairment for any of the involved drivers.

A GoFundMe was organized to help Vasquez's family lay her to rest. As of Saturday afternoon, the fundraiser generated more than $4,000 of an $8,000 goal.
