The Wisconsin Badgers suffered a historic 44-25 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday to fall to 5-6 on the season and 3-5 in conference play. Saturday's defeat was the fourth straight Big Ten loss for Luke Fickell's program, which is now in jeopardy of missing out on its first bowl game appearance since 2001.
After dropping a close 16-13 contest to No. 1 Oregon a week ago, Luke Fickell's team once again failed to make the cut for this week's hierarchy. A panel of head coaches at Football Bowl Subdivision schools construct the US LBM Coaches Poll, a weekly list composed throughout the college football regular season.

The Badgers will face the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Madison, Wisconsin, on Nov. 29. A win at home would clinch UW's 23rd consecutive appearance in a bowl game and leave fans with something to celebrate in an up-and-down season. A loss, however, could change the trajectory of the program.
Wisconsin's game vs. Minnesota is slated for 12:00 p.m. CT on Nov. 29. The game will be aired on CBS.
