Canada earned a dramatic overtime victory over Team USA on Thursday, and a Boston Bruins legend was on hand to see the action.
Patrice Bergeron was among the thousands of people at TD Garden who watched Connor McDavid score the game-winner to help Canada win the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Bergeron reunited with former Bruins teammate Brad Marchand outside of the Team Canada locker room. He also met up with McDavid and Sidney Crosby, to whom he dropped a funny and accurate line.
"There's our centermen," Crosby said to Bergeron, per a Bruins video.
"You just keep winning, huh?" Bergeron replied to Crosby.
Bergeron was a former mainstay on the Canadian men's ice hockey team. He helped his national team win two Olympic gold medals and a World Cup of Hockey, which he did alongside Crosby.
It was a sight to behold for fans to see Bergeron, Crosby, McDavid and Marchand in the same room as the latter three greeted Bergeron's sons, who wore Marchand Canada jerseys.
You can catch more of Bergeron along with Tuukka Rask and Andrew Raycroft on NESN's "Unobstructed Views" when the Bruins face the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday.
