Addison-based E2open Parent Holdings has appointed Susan E. Bennett as e2open's chief legal officer and secretary. She had served as interim EVP, general counsel, and secretary for the company since May.
E2open is a cloud-based supply chain SaaS platform connecting companies with their suppliers, manufacturers, logistics partners, and distributors.
"I'm delighted to announce Susan's appointment as e2open's chief legal officer and secretary, as both a valued member of our executive leadership team and a trusted advisor," CEO Andrew Appel said in a statement. "Susan brings to her role more than 25 years of experience in global legal affairs and leadership that is critical to our key initiatives as we continue to transform the company. With Susan's leadership, we are confident that we will continue to build our strategic customer relationships while navigating legal risks effectively, upholding the highest standards of governance, and driving our organization forward."
E2open -- which recently relocated from Austin to Addison, according to the Dallas Business Journal -- said that Bennett is a strategic, results-oriented executive dedicated to promoting collaborative, innovative, and inclusive cultures through partnering with stakeholders at all levels, including the board of directors, shareholders, executive leadership, and commercial organizations.
E2open said that in her new role, Bennett oversees the legal, contracts, risk management, information security and compliance areas of the business.
Before e2open, Bennett was CLO for Circana (previously IRI) for nearly 10 years where she led the legal and compliance functions. Before that, she was SVP, general counsel and secretary at Culligan International Co., after beginning her legal career at a small law firm.
"I'm thrilled to continue working with my talented colleagues at e2open, our board of directors, and our dedicated teams to build our momentum and achieve our strategic goals," Bennett said in a statement.
In December, E2open promoted Pawan Joshi to chief strategy officer, a new executive role responsible for driving corporate strategy and growth through strategic client engagement and break-through innovation. The company said that Rachit Lohani had come aboard as chief product and technology officer, a new executive role bringing together product management, engineering, and technology.
E2open said it has the broadest cloud-native global platform purpose-built for modern supply chains, and connects more than 480,000 manufacturing, logistics, channel, and distribution partners as one multi-enterprise network tracking over 16 billion transactions annually. Its SaaS platform anticipates disruptions and opportunities to help companies improve efficiency, reduce waste, and operate sustainably.
