Texas May Soon Feel Strongest Cold Front of Season

If you're a fan of winter and cold air in Texas, you'll love what a few meteorologists are calling for after Thanksgiving.

Meteorologist Matt Jones posted a graphic on social media that shows a strong cold front pushing into the southern region and it may arrive in Texas just in time to begin the month of December.

We've had some nice cold fronts sweep into the Deep South in November, but could this be the strongest cold front thus far this season? We will have to wait and see, but this strong cold front could arrive just as we put the 2024 Hurricane Season to rest.

So, if you've been hoping for "Christmas-like" weather and temperatures, you may be in luck as much of the country could be very cold to start the month of December.

Finally, while you're out shopping for the holidays in the South, it may feel like what Christmas should feel like, and perhaps the kids won't be taking photos in shorts while sitting on Santa's lap.

As we approach Thanksgiving, we will continue to monitor this potential string cold front and provide more information here as we get closer to the end of November.

However, you may want to prepare your home or business for much colder days ahead, and that includes securing your property from rodents. Yes, they too will want to stay warm in the months ahead.

Now, let's take a look at the forecast/graphic shared by Meteorologist Matt Jones on social media.

Here's another look at the strong cold that will be pushing further South at the end of November, and into December. Maybe it's time to get the big jackets and coats out.
