ESPN College Gameday analyst Desmond Howard has appeared to change his stance on the Arizona State football program ahead of its matchup versus the BYU Cougars.
During College Gameday on Saturday, the 1991 Heisman Trophy winner and Super Bowl 31 MVP praised ASU and head coach Kenny Dillingham for the team's 8-2 start and contention in the Big 12 conference.
Howard wasn't the only analyst to feel great about Sun Devils' chances on Saturday as the entire College Gameday crew including Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee, Lee Corso and guest host Justin Fields all picked ASU to beat BYU.
It's a change of pace for Howard who picked Kansas State against ASU last week and even remarked why they were picking the game to begin with despite both teams entering the matchup at 7-2.
Following ASU's 24-14 win over the Wildcats, ASU football fans did not hold back on social media.
Even the Big-12 Conference chimed in on Howard's comments.
