The second snowfall of the year blanketed Uptown Charlotte, surprising residents as snow accumulated on roads and buildings.
Channel 9 crews observed several areas where the snowfall had cars, sidewalks, and roadways coated.
"Having lived here for 35 years, this is unusual," said resident Mark Abrams. "Now, we got snow... this counts... this is real snow."

The snowfall occurred as people were heading home from work, causing drivers to take it slow on the roads. Many people were seen walking through Uptown, enjoying the unexpected winter scene.
