Browns schedule: Team playing hard; Ravens, Steelers wins sets up spoiler role

The Cleveland Browns are 3-8 after a surprise victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football in Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season. A game played in a snowglobe where talk of the Browns plans to play in a dome became a secondary storyline on social media.

For Cleveland fans and the team, beating Pittsburgh is a little bit of solace for a season that has mostly been a failure. While talk of HC Kevin Stefanski getting fired has mostly been squashed nationally before the game, the team's performance on the field seemed to confirm it.

Of the Browns three victories, two have come against their AFC North rivals including the Baltimore Ravens three weeks ago. Despite the losses to Cleveland, the Steelers and Ravens still sit atop the division but those losses could have a huge impact on seeding come the playoffs.

The Browns schedule is a tough one to finish out the season with four teams, including Baltimore and Pittsburgh, currently in playoff spots and two others, the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins, fighting to stay alive for the final Wild Card spot.

Not only did Cleveland win on Thursday Night Football but the effort they showed on the field proved that they haven't quit on Stefanski. Second-effort plays, diving over defenders, coming down with tough catches and surviving in sloppy conditions prove to Jimmy Haslam and the team's fans that the team hasn't given up.

Bad news for the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers, Bengals and Dolphins who have to face a team with nothing to lose and everything to prove the rest of the year.

The Browns proved a lot of Thursday night and now have that tough slate of opponents worried about the Fighting Stefanski's.
